We're excited to be running our Beginner's Embroidery Workshop to help you take that leap into learning to how to embroider.
Embroidering is such a fun and versatile skill to learn and there are so many things that you can make once you've learnt a few basic stitches. It is also a great hobby to have to help you relax and look after your everyday wellbeing.
In these 2 hours you will learn how to get started in your embroidery practice. This includes materials used, techniques for starting and finishing, as well as project ideas. We will spend the majority of the workshop with hands-on guided practice on popular stitches. If you have some embroidery experience already, we can give you tips and tricks on how to level up your skills. In this workshop you can expect to learn 7 different stitches that you can use in your embroidery practice. A template with floral designs and suggestions of what stitch to use will come home with you to get you started. We hope send you off with all the skills and confidence you need to get started on a new project.
All materials are included and you will leave with an embroidered sample. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to refresh their skills and for people who are 14 years of age and over.
