SPOOKY UPCYCLING EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP

Looking for cozy and spooky plans for Halloween? Look no further and join for an evening of haunted music, snacks, embroidery, prizes and maybe some new crafty pals :)

New to embroidery? No problem! This workshop will be a relaxed space to pickup some tips and tricks on how to get started on your embroidery practice. Bring your own pattern and textile. For beginners I recommend a stiff cotton fabric material such as totebags, jeans/jean jackets, sweaters & hoodies.

In these 2 hours I will review some beginner techniques and go around to provide one on one guidance. Class size is limited to 10 people. Sample patterns and fabric will be included.  

All ages welcome :)!! For those under the age of 14 you must be accompanied by a guardian, both attendees must have their own ticket. You are welcome to also just bring yourself if you don’t have any clothing you would like to embroider. 

I hope to send you off with all the skills and confidence you need for embroidery! 

MATERIALS INCLUDED:

• Stick n wash transfer paper
• Patterns to choose from (OR bring your own! Ill help you map out stitches)
• Embroidery needles
• Embroidery floss
• (post workshop) digital pattern, embroidery resources

Nut free snacks and hot cocoa will be provided. Please let me know if you have any allergies!

**BONUS** Feel free to dress up in your Halloween costume! A “best costume” winner will receive an Ellie’s Market embroidery kit (Ducky pattern) along with some compass card stickers!! No pressure but its a pretty good deal :)
